Here is a page from The Millennium Book. It contains, in microcosm, some of the earliest landscape images Tighe produced in the digital medium.
The Universal Mind
This book box has a roughly hewn finish with a vellum image affixed to the cover. The medallion is similar to that on the Homage to Ancient Irish Manuscripts, Book II, but the finish is the natural pewter.
60 x 31 x 5 cm
This is the centre page. On this occasion, the pages are of vellum alone, bound with canvas. Tighe frequently incorporates text into his volumes, which are often axioms or cryptic references, not easily interpreted, but always thought provoking.
Small covers of steel, wood & cast marble
Here are a stainless steel cover, a wooden and a cast ivory/resin cover, with various embellishments.
Mid-sized books
Here are examples of stainless steel book covers, containing elaborate designs hammered into the metal, with enamelling, cast pewter adornments and soft leather edging.
